Music Therapy

The music therapy program at The Children’s Learning Center originated in September of 1998. Music therapy is an evidenced-based program that addresses the physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs of the students at CLC. Motor Skills are developed through dance and instrument play.  Cognitive skills are challenged with music listening and fun games and social emotional skills are strengthened through cooperative play and sharing of music materials.

Each class at the school receives music therapy.  The students have the opportunity to participate in the school concerts for which families are invited to watch. The CLC Chorus was started in September of 1999 and performs at various concerts and special events throughout the year.
