Sherri Glazer, M.S. Ed., SDL

Sherri holds a B.S. in Special Education, an M.S. in Elementary Education and an Advanced Certificate in School District Leadership from Dowling College.

She joined the CP Nassau family in 2017 as an Assistant Principal. Sherri has worked with students with special needs since 1994 as a K-5 life skills teacher, a CSE chairperson and a Principal for a summer school enrichment program. She is also an Adjunct Professor at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY. At The Children’s Learning Center, Sherri is responsible for school-wide planning, personnel management, adhering to regulations and ensuring all students are provided a nurturing environment that meets the mission of the school.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL

Jessica Jean-Charles, M.S. Ed., SDL

Jessica graduated from New York University with a dual degree in General and Special Education.  She began her career as a special education teacher in August of 2000, at the Children’s Learning Center (CLC).  Jessica continued her education at Adelphi University, where she received her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Technology.  She became the coordinator of Instructional Technology and later the Assistant Principal of CLC in September of 2011.  After years of dedication to special education Jessica recently became an adjunct Professor at Hofstra University, working closely with undergraduate and graduate students preparing to enter the field.
